We just picked up our new puppy this week from Roxanne at Goldenridge! She is our third dog from them and we couldn’t be happier!! Our first dog Brandi (Lia/Bentley) lived a very long,healthy life, 14 1/2 years and she was a dream! We now have a four year old boy named Blue (Winston/Spencer) and he is extremely intelligent and loveable! Our new puppy is transitioning perfect with him. Blue is gentle with her and she is very playful and lively. The new puppy is doing well potty training in just 2 days with us. Overall, we have had an awesome experience with our three Golden Retrievers because of the outstanding breeders at Goldenridge Golden Retrievers. They put so much love and care into their work and are extremely experienced and knowledgeable in dog breeding. We are grateful we found them so many years ago! We picked up our little boy-Ace from Louise/Remington litter on Sat 7/20/24. And the experience was incredible. Roxanne is an incredibly gifted person who loves what she does. We've had Mabel Grace around for a little over a week, and it's been a wild ride. We're loving her quick brain, confident swagger, and sass for days, not to mention her total softie side. This tiny pup/Velociraptor has already snagged a prime spot in our hearts, and we're betting on years of laughter and joy. We picked up our first dog from Golden Ridge Kennels on Monday! We had a 4 hour drive home and he did great the whole way. He is so sweet and we are so happy to have him! Cedar is already going to the bathroom outside. Roxanne walks you through details of what to expect in the upcoming weeks, when to have the dogs see the vet, etc. Would definitely recommend working with Roxanne to get your golden!

I bought a puppy (born 4/3) from Roxanne in hopes of having a new member of our family and training the puppy to be an ESA and hopefully a therapy dog one day! I wanted to wait a few months to write a review so I could write honestly about my experience and our puppy. I have to say I could not be happier! The process of working with Roxanne to reserve a puppy was very easy. She is incredibly knowledgeable about her dogs and was very helpful. We truly enjoyed working with her. Our puppy Riley is so sweet, smart, and has a wonderful temperament. He was completely house trained by day two and has slept through the night since night one! He has been to the veterinarian for all his check ups and vaccinations and is a very healthy puppy. He is very social and is great with people, kids, and other dogs. We have had him enrolled in puppy classes and he has excelled. We get compliments on his personality and temperament everywhere we go. Everyone stops to tell us how handsome he is! He loves to cuddle and his favorite thing now is to “hold hands” with everyone he meets. When in public with Riley I have been asked several times where I got him because everyone wants a dog like him! My husband and I plan to be repeat customers some day. Thank you to Roxanne and Goldenridge Kennels for our wonderful Riley.

What a great experience at Goldenridge Kennels! Well kept facilities and very knowledgeable staff. Amazing owner who truly loves each and every animal in her care. Very happy with our boy Barney who was healthy, happy and clean when we picked him up. Would definitely recommend Goldenridge Kennels if you are in search of a happy and healthy Golden Retriever.

This review is about our Goldenridge Kennels Golden Retriever. His name is Biscuit and his birthday is 11/28/20. His parents are Tillie and Spencer. He is the most loving, loyal, smart and athletic dog we have ever owned. Roxanne has checked on him periodically since we brought him home. We are stopped everywhere we go because of his unusually good looks. Biscuit is our second dog from Goldenridge Kennels. Our first named Hunter lived 12 years and 8 months and was such a wonderful dog. We waited only a few months and had to get another. I have nothing but good to say about this breeder. My husband and I remarked how we saw freshly bathed dogs, no dog feces anywhere and happy healthy dogs everywhere. If you are looking for a loving, loyal, healthy Golden Retriever, I recommend Goldenridge Kennels in Hampden, Maine very highly.

As first time dog owners, we couldn’t have picked a better breeder than Roxanne and her husband, Leslie. They made the process easy from the beginning and provided us with endless knowledge and advice pertaining to raising a puppy. UPDATE: I brought George home 6 days ago. George is doing wonderful!! I couldn't love him more. He's eating and drinking, and he loves to play with carrots after he's chewed on them a little bit. No accidents at all. He still doesn't love his leash, but he gets better every day. He's much more relaxed and he wags his big tail and smiles when I come downstairs in the morning. I was sleeping downstairs on the couch, but I decided I would try going upstairs and see how he did alone. He did just fine. He absolutely loves Harry. It's perfect! They play hard and then sleep. We'll work on trying to get him to come in through the basement a little at a time. He's really doing very well adjusting to a new home. He's the sweetest boy. I am so happy that I got another beautiful golden from Goldenridge Kennels. Thank you again Roxanne! This sweet boy, Harry Winston (Winston/Onyx 2017)is about to get a little brother. I just spoke with Roxanne, and I’m thrilled to be bringing home a Bonnie/Leo boy soon. Harry has been the best dog and I couldn’t be more excited to be getting another puppy from Goldenridge! They do outstanding breeding. I’m even happier that the puppy is from the same lineage as Harry.
